Rob has been involved in the Child Social Exclusion index since the first index created in 2006 from 2001 Census data. It was the work he left the ABS to do at NATSEM in 2005. He has been involved with every index since then.
The 2024 Index, using 2021 Census and other data, was done for Uniting, and was led by Riyana Miranti, a colleague of Rob’s at the University of Canberra. Rob was involved in advising the team and providing input into the index.
